It is very crazy to think that in 1804 for 2 years lewis and Clark traveled from the east coast of the united States to the west which was not part of the country at that point. Over time it would grow to the country we all know of today but then, the west was completely unexplored by any Europeans. They traveled in intense weather and across mountains plains and rivers, creating maps of most of what they encountered all with horses and small boats. Truly it is so wild that people achieved such distances.
