I've never even caught one of these!!!
This was one awesome photo text to get! While I was coming back from @freedompoint and @armadillocreek I got some excellent news. The @little-peppers and @mama-pepper had caught a snake that they did not recognize. Once I saw the photo, I was so eager to get home!
THEY CAUGHT ME A WILD SCARLET SNAKE!

While riding her bike, Red-Pepper had saw this snake crossing the road. She immediately told @mama-pepper who came over to check it out. They did not recognize it, and even thought that it might be venomous, but that did not stop them.
@Mama-pepper felt that it would be best if she did not just let it go on its way. She soon had a bucket and a stick, and was able to capture the wild serpent! This is the type of stuff that makes me so happy! I've never seen one of these in the wild, and to find out that one was crawling down the road next to our land would have been horrible, if they had not detained it for me. I'll work on getting a "Wild-man's Wild Friends" video up featuring it and see if I can't get a great photo shoot in too. For now, I just wanted to share the excellent news!

That is good to hear that there was no accidents. But that totally sucks to have to get a new ride. I had to get a new car in February though I had to get a new one cause a guy came off a county road and did see me in my huge gold van and t-boned me. I was fine my van though was totalled.
That is a rare find! How nice to see you educating your kids about the outdoors and wildlife instead of just putting fear into their minds like some city folks do.
Yeah, that whole fear thing can be a tough one. I've met people who are terrified of the frogs around here and teach their children to be as well... the worse that they can do is hop...
Heh, hop right into a frying pan! Sorry for the squeemish folks out there, but where I grew up crawdads and bullfrog legs were the rare delicacy to be savored! Don't see either of them much up here in Colorado now, but still a couple places to get the seasonal crawfish gumbo.
wow .. really very pretty snakes that let alone the color I like, but really venomous when bitten.

Those kids are really amazing. I cant even catch one of those ha, well my family has caught me a chicken before.but the best is a crab in swampy waters.

I am the snake catcher around here, so I catch my own, haha. My kids recently caught a box turtle though. Not for me, but for them. They call him 'Humbug'. :D

Thouse Kids Are Really Amazing I can catch a one-on-one side, a good family is a chef, a chicken feel. But the best is a crab in supernatural arteries.

We just had a copper head here I live outside of Orlando FL what would you recommend doing with one in a community right near the front door they are venomous and pretty dangerous right?
We've had three or four in the area already this year. Any kind of snake can pretty much end up anywhere, so as far as recommendations, just watch where you step. That's about it....

Yeah, I think that's what's good with children. They are quite brave. I remember as a kid I once saw a small green snake in our front yard. I tried to
smashpush it away with a stick and called my grandma. If it happened to me now, I think I'll not be able to do it anymore. :Dwow that kind of snake is not poisonous? how impressive how you hold normally would be interesting to grab a never in my life I've done
