Yeah the birds like me lol, well the sparrows anyway. Also I've been chasing the cats out of the yard. Yesterday something interesting happened. I was in the backyard when one of the Sparrows started squaking in the apple tree. Then over the next couple minutes every sparrow within blocks of the house came swooping in squaking away. Apon inspection I see a cat up in the cherry tree next to apple tree and dozens of Sparrows were all around it squaking at it flitting from branch to branch. There is a nest in the apple tree and mom put out a distress call and every Sparrow in ear shot responded.
I chased the cat out of the tree and through a gap at the gate and as fate would have it as soon as the cat bolted through the gap it popped into the ally and ran right into a dog lol
No harm done to kitty as it was on a leash but it was sorta halarious =)
