Altcoins will rally again once Bitcoin stabilises. At present Bitcoin represents cryptocurrencies, thus altcoins will follow it down at an accelerated rate and follow it up at a slightly slower rate. This will change once Alts de-couple from Bitcoin but I think this will take some time to occur given mainstream investors only know Bitcoin.
