While Vitamin A protects the cornea, the chances of macular degeneration and cataracts reduce considerably with the lutein and zeaxanthin. Zinc, on the other hand, is beneficial for your retina and night vision.
Dairy products
Vitamin A is the main constituent of the dairy products that help keep your cornea safe. Zinc is another important component present in the dairy products that help deliver Vitamin A to the eyes of the liver.
Apart from keeping your eyes clean and safe from the computer glare, you must also ensure that you consume a healthy diet including the above five essential food items. These foods will not just help protect your eyes from any diseases, but also keep you in a good health overall.
