Hi IamAlive community,
Today I finally took the initiative to walk down the Bosje brug of Suriname. The original name of this famous bridge is the Jules Wijdenbosch Brice or J.A. Wijdenboschbrug. It is a bridge over the Suriname River and connects Paramaribo, on the western left bank, with the town of Meerzorg in the Commewijne district (for more information please visit Wikipedia.org). I took the initiative to step out of my comfort zone around 06:00 in the morning and just go for it. I have to admit that at first I was nerveus cause I didn’t know what to expect. But I’m actually glad I did it. It was actually a friendly invitation from a very noble friend that I had met in the AZP Hospital of Suriname (BTW i do voluntarily work for the Emergency & Accident (ER) or as they call it in Dutch; Spoedeisende Hulp (SEH), but that’s a story for another day). Now I want to share my experiences with you all because the peace and joy I felt today was worth going out of my comfort zone and just letting loose for those 60 minutes this Sunday morning.
