So sometimes we come into things and it is not all what it seems to be. The hype and the hoopla has us spinning and questioning ourselves...just what did I step into? You see in the early hay days...Milton Berle was great for the barrel of laughs and the innovator for comic relief when the 30-40's were just spinning the idea of talk cinema while the silent screens were no longer so quiet. The idea of speaking and showing some raw talent...but a toast of laughter really woke up America. People wanted to come in from the tunnels, and labored jobs eat, grab a cold one and laugh their butts off. End of story...but he took it to another level. He became Uncle Merle and everyone loved him because he took things to another level that no one thought even existed.
This is what you have to do in this industry. The lust for the prize is not enough. You have to dig deep and get creative, you have to have to make an impression that will stand out above the rest. Nothing that appears to be the norm will satisfy the craving for new and robust thoughts but what stands out as the abnormal.....yes it is okay to be radically different, give the sauce to the dry chicken if you will. Always remember everyone can cook chicken but it is all about the ingredients that makes the chicken finger lickin' good to keep coming back for more. Make your sauce memorable~
