After BSNL’s Rs 75 plan launch yesterday, now Bharti Airtel has introduced a new entry-level prepaid plan of Rs 75 for users. This 28 days validity plan from Airtel comes right after the Rs 47 plan, which also had the same validity period of 28 days.
As reported by TelecomTalk, the new Airtel Rs 75 prepaid plan competes with Idea s Rs 75 plan. The benefits are also similar for 28 days. Airtel in this plan is offering users 300 minutes of free voice calling along with data and SMS benefits. Users will get 1GB of 2G/3G/4G data along with 100 free Local/National SMSes for a period of 28 days. Idea Cellular’s Rs 75 plan also has 300 minutes with 1GB of 4G data along with 100 free Local/National SMSes, but is valid across Idea’s 4G circles only.

BSNL’s new Rs 75 plan is a bit different as it comes with only 15 days validity, but offers truly unlimited calling and other benefits. Unlike most competitors, the Rs 75 plan with unlimited calling does not have any FUP limits. However, the free calling is not valid when users call to mobile numbers in Mumbai and Delhi circles.

BSNL users also get 10GB 3G data, without any daily restrictions, and 500 free SMSes through the validity period. Now, one of the interesting things about this plan is the validity extension option where users can recharge with popular STVs and extend the plan validity by up to 6 months (180 days). The validity extension will only be given on eligible STV recharges, and not on recharges made via self-care, web self-care or USSD.
