Create your First Ethereum Wallet

in #airdrops7 years ago (edited)

An ethereum wallet will allow you to receive tokens from various new ICOs (Initial Coin Offerings), via distributions called airdrops.

Airdrops are a way for some projects to introduce their tokens amongst a larger community, and for the crypto community to get to know about their tokens and their developing project.

Increasingly, airdrops are being used by new coin offerings, to raise awareness for a product.

Steps

Each Ethereum Wallet Has three components to save: JSON File, Private Key and Public Address.

1. Head to MyEtherWallet and enter a password.

2. Download the JSON File in the next step. This is your recovery file, back it up and keep it safe.
