Airdrops, how to participate?

Recently, the Airdrops have become very popular.
They are using new projects to attract the audience. Some coins, due to the Airdrops and formation of a community around them, acquire a very high cost, such as DeepOnion, which at the very beginning was distributed to 600-700 coins per person.
Some use AirDrop just as a method of gathering your personal information, or creating additional hype around the project. Of course there are also scammers here, and you must be very careful.

And still, Airdrops are a great way for newcomers to get their first Tokens, to join the crypto community, and maybe to get rich, the precedents were exactly the same.

Note that such coins as OmiseGO, StellarLumens, XRB and many others that now cost good money were originally distributed by Airdrops.

I think that I will be profitable, I will give an example:
Itself only three weeks ago started to receive the first coins and recently one of them went to the stock exchange, called Rebellious, now it costs about 0.12 $. For participation in Airdrop I received 3000 coins. There is someone who has received more, who is less. But all these now 3000 coins are worth more than $ 300. And I got it for free =)

But we must remember on this wave a lot of scam!
Therefore, it is worth following the following rules:
1. The main rule is - don't enter your private key anywhere.
2. For each registration, use a unique password. Different from your password from a mailbox, stock exchange or wallet. Invent yourself for some algorithm on which you will generate passwords for such sites, so that it would be easier for you, or write them separately.
3. If the project does not have its own page, there is no Roadmap, or Whitepaper, the site is done clumsily and with errors - 99.9% this is a scam.

Also, many Airdrops require a minimum on their wallet, usually just 0.05 Ether, if it's tokens. Remember that in order to withdraw the received token from your wallet, you still need gas, you can buy it only for Ether, so having a little on your wallet is a must.
