My opinion About ABORTION,it is not half as sensitive topic as people make it.Before the question "abortion" is contemplated,it means the child is "unwanted"
In a typical African system,the mere mention of the word makes you abysmal but as an African who has developed along with time,i think abortion is not BAD.
Ok..
...she is sad,wondering what it feels like to live a normal life,nobody to encourage and correct her when she is wrong,ofcourse there are parents,siblings,aunts,uncles,cousins.But what could replace the place of a mother?? Definitely not a grumpy stepmother or a busy father.
She has to live with the horror of not having the same phenotypical traits like everyone else or the worst genetic build up in the family.
The confusion of not knowing what she would look like in the nearest future,Is it a mother she doesnt look like??
At a point,she asks herself "why was i not aborted?? "
This is a state of a young teenage girl who doesn't understand lots of things going on around her.she gets pregnant,gave birth,gave the child to her father and took off.why give birth to a child you obviously dont want ?
He/She will just grow up to suffer the brutality of the stepmother,confusion of they siblings with different phenotypic and genetics.
A simple abortion could have just save the child the stress of having to grow up with so many unanswered questions.
Countries with laws against abortion can as well stay that way but those who intend to go through abortion should be supported for obvious reasons.
Children with emotional instability should no longer be brought into the world for there is any other thing worst than female genital mutilation is growing up with emotional and psychological pains.
When it comes to the issue of abortion,I AM PRO CHOICE.
