Interesting post ! I am a registered nurse in northern Ontario, Canada. I must say the shift work is killer, and the lack of sun in the winter months really messes with my sleep schedule! I've tried just about everything under the sun for sleep, from over the counter to prescription sleeping aids. Most had awful side effects like dry mouth and drowsiness the next day. That and an extreme dependence on them. I always end up resorting back to the trusted melatonin. Works wonders !
