It was about 1 am at my place, and I had actually just woken up after 3 hours of sleep after getting home from work. I was trying to sleep again, but my mind kept reminding me that hours will waste in my life and will not come again, so it might be good to read or watch some info that will give a little bit of information or knowledge for myself.
I end up reading words from heavily spamming ads on my social media "https://coursiv.io/" that offer AI courses for at least 30 days. They are famous and repeated headlines that learn AI for work and make money from it or take advantage of the technology. Well, it was very catchy until I read the review that all of those ads and their courses were a scam, which only introduced the application and a little bit of it without an exact footprint for success. I almost subscribed to it because it was so tempting, and I really needed another alternative to make income, and I guess every one of us. Well, if I'm that young, I'll take the risk and at least learn something from it, but I would not trade my time with things that are not concrete for my current self; for me, time was the real value of wealth that I have now.
Will AI automation take over humans?
AI was scarily developed exponentially; it was so fast, and no one can predict what the outcome of it will be. When I'm in Singapore, I believe most of the automation, like immigration and cross-border, has been 80% taken over by automation AI. Well, it was good because it made things 80% faster than the old-school method. I believe it is still convenient to have AI doing those things to reduce or prevent human errors. Even the old-school method, they were actually still using PCs for databases, which was part of automation technology. When I was learning at a local university 20 years ago, some of my friends were learning about facial recognition, which at that time was not so popular and had a lot of errors. For years, the lecturer tried to get a better prototype, and I believe it was the result of many safety purposes, like speed trap cameras, neighbourhood safety cameras, and many more. Even Singapore has made an announcement that they will be implementing no passport on entrances in the near future due to this technology. Just see how fast it was happening in the world now.
This photo has been taken at Cangi airport by me. Seeing this police surveillance being deployed here was a new thing for me and, I guess, many people who come from underdeveloped areas. This feature will change a lot, and I mean a lot of police officers that are working regular rounds. Imagine this kind of robot will change the work of a thousand police officers who are doing the clock in around their sentry; doesn't this one kind of automation change this routine? I believe this is not going to stop there. This robot will keep upgrading from one time to another time, or maybe someday I can see the real Robocop myself.
Well, there was more than that, but I guess I need to get some rest and sleep because I need to wake up again at 5 am so I can go for my work. I hope this 4-month finish goes fast so I can graduate for my diploma. Anyway, good night, everyone. See you in my next journey.
