Researchers are using AI to decipher the communication codes of sperm whales (Physeter macrocephalus). With continous applications of AI, we humans will be able to communicate with many animal types in future. What this means, is that humans will be able to teach animals knowledge at a unprecedented success rate. But also animals will be able to communicate with humans and exchange knowledge and experience.
Already now, researchers are trying to convince government authorities of the intelligence of certain animals in order to enforce animal protection and conservation schemes.
