Nigeria poor educational system

in #africa8 years ago

Looking back to reflect on what we learnt in secondary schools, I noticed we were not taught much to make do with in the real world, I remember been taught to draw a cockroach and label it parts in fact mosquitoes made my pencils go to work, but the stunning reality is that all that information wasn't going to make me a better doctor. I remember my computer science class was all about warm booting, cold booting the highest I was able to with a computer was wait on a long queue of students to type my name on computer. The education system is worse than I tell, we can't be a developed country with this level of information we get in elementary school not even a foreign language is been taught to a reasonable length. If we want to be a developed county like Japan, China, USA we have to do what they do with education.

The educational system in most part of the world is really bad and doesn't create the effects that it should. I was reading those articles here:

I think it complements what you have said and presents nice solutions for the educational problems!
