#Africa is Light years behind in history
A continent that has a history of being backward compared with other parts of the world when it comes to advancement and following nascent developments, except for some flash point locations. Despite the fact that Africa's are well read and exposed especially the elites and the ruling class, I wonder why She sit's back in obscurity and abject darkness as a spectator in an unfolding world where everyone has but one life time to make a mark.
The agitation from the masses and the rationally thinking few calling for change seems to fall on hard bricked ears as leaders pays little or no concerns to these agitations but are basking in the euphoria of abundance and being blinded by greed and selfishness with no national interest at heart . Africa my Africa "I wonder what construct defines the algorithmic notions that drives her ", sitting at ease while the world moves ahead, it still beats my imagination.
Taking a critical look shows that the developed nations of the world have limited resources vis-a-vis Africa's , yet they engage their intelligence by reason of use through constant research in achieving great feats. Great men stood up and forge the course of their nations, not narrow minded but having great dreams that outlived them knowing fully that it was a course larger than their personally interest.
Africans are embedded in a location of abundance of resources yet they languish in abject poverty, pains, wars, hopelessness and the list goes on, being exploited by no one but themselves. DNA sequencing indicates that there is no significant difference exiting between Africans and the rest of the world.
So, what is the problem ? Has it got to do with the location or the people? Do we need a paradigm shift? How can we achieve that? Africa is a complex equation that requires a complex solution.
What is wrong in Africa ?

I would really like to hear you contrast and compare the affluent common urban areas of Africa with the rural, wild Africa. Yet many ideas in this post, and I think you have enough information to do a series of post to delve into each of them more concretely. I'm always interested in hearing about places I don't know much about like this article and when I read yesterday about Siberia. Keep it up! I'll be following you.
I appreciate your interest and I intent to do a regular series delving into a vast array of issues as it relates to Africa, Do recommend for other readers who might just be interested. Thanks again
