That's such a good point, @cryptonewslight. When the powers that be were first promoting NEPAD, we all thought it was a great idea - and we all asked how they were going to reach out to grassroots levels. They answered well, that they would work with each country to use those countries' existing communications structures, but 16 years down the line I'm not sure the level of awareness is there. Same with the level of awareness of the Sustainable Development Goals, which are supposed to be shared by all of us...I suppose every country around the world has its challenges in communicating messages like this, and especially in hearing what local societies have to say and taking their messages back to leadership....
