As harsh as it sounds, but it's probably better for Meena to stay inside prison. Given her upbringing, and the likely lack of support for her outside, she would never survive.

Given my limited understand of Afghanistan based on what I learn from the media, I would love to be proven wrong, and for someone to tell me there is hope and a future for Meena beyond prison.
