RE: The Truth About Affiliate Marketing – Spencer Coffman

in #affiliate7 years ago (edited)

For those of you who are already in affiliate marketing and are in your first year. During your waiting period on finding buyers for your product, you can also monetise your skills e.g creative skills, writing skills. find a way to stay active and communicating with your customers. Remember your customers at the end of the day want to be engaged in a way that they can perceive they are getting value for their attention.

I would advise not to make the mistake also in underestimating what you have to offer if you're good at story writing for example. You can easily post on freelance websites and ghost write a good story for anywhere between $80 to $150 of course this depends on the size of the project and who the customer is. e.g a blogger wouldn't pay the same amount for a project they offer compared to a media company or a game developer, though the good thing is all you need is 10 customers to make $800 to $1500.

That type of money you make in your wait period could be a breath of air, and also of course contributing to this great community on steemit!

Thank you for this great insight and valuable comment! You are absolutely correct! It doesn't take much to start making some money. All you need is a handful of loyal customers. The trouble is that it is tough to find some solid customers that keep coming back.

Thus, if you can market yourself and get yourself out there to be found then you have the majority of the battle won. The main thing is to keep going. Never give up and work hard to succeed!
