Aug 5th, 2018 – Aeneas Core team launched a first version of Aeneas Testnet node. As it was mentioned before, node is written on Scala and based on Scorex 2 framework of IOHK.
Network consensus algorithm is Proof-of-Work for better ash distribution (testnet coins will not have value, whatever, we need to test how it works).
Network parameters include a block generation time near 1 minute and a reward of 100 ash for mining block. Mining process runs only on one core of one CPU of your system, so it is definitely no reason to run multi-cores or multi-CPU clusters, ASICS, or any kind of computing or mining equipment.
