Getting a second passport isn't something only spies and affluent people do as you see within James Bond movies. Its simply not the case. Any man of stature can obtain one and most of the times it can be very easy to do and takes just little effort.
It can be an incredible thing to have within one's finger tips because it allows options and the option allows more freedom.
You're able to move across borders in an instant and able to work, retire, live, invest and if worst case happened, you can even seek refuge in the country to do all of the above.
I myself consider having a second passport a insurance policy. An insurance policy i can pass down from generation to generation with minimal effort.
This is definitely a no brainier opportunity for anyone., it can also appeal to those not liking the trend within their country and would like to distance themselves when the going gets tough. I for one am also exploring my options to find the best passports for me.

Sure. Well i just have to state this isnt investment advice. So you live in the states..... so maybe you have europeon ancestry. If so there are a number of countries that offer passports that way. Ireland, italy, (think greece if i remember correctly) so id recommend that option if you can
If your looking to get married lets say to a brazilian woman. You can recieve a passport that way. Other countries also have thay option available.
Some countries offer retirement programmes. Such as panama (if i remember correctly) and spain (triple check) and some asian countries too.
And last but not least are investment programmes. So some countries allow passports in exchange fot parking some investment monry in the country. IE a house in countries such as portugal, Bali, alot of the carribean countries and alot of the asian countries but do remember that a country can close off their investment option after they recieve alot of interest and people moving into the country.
