Gas stations are no longer some selling points for fuels, oils and consumables for cars. What else is looking for customers? Food and beverages!
But now all gas station sell food!
And then, how do you stand out?
By advertisements like this!
Do not let the hunger drive you!
Do not let the fatigue to drive!
The result leads to this:
and that
They convinced me!
Awesome, and it is very interesting how these gas stations are really having to adapt to the changes you mention. The biggest gas station chain I know of in Sweden is Statoil . They changed their brand to circle K some years ago. A smart move, and it seems they are looking to compete with convenience stores such as 7 eleven and family mart. I think they definitely made this change in the right time. Good and interesting post!
Actually, Statoil sold its convenience stores to a Canadian conglomerate called Alimentation Couche-Tard, which owns the Circle K brand. It was the biggest convenience store brand in the US, originally founded in El Paso, Texas before it got sold to the Canadian company. It's a big trend in the last years as oil companies are dropping their consumer based convenience stores and concentrate on producing and distributing oil products. Other oil companies followed. 7-11 just added another 1000 stores or something like that they bought from Sunoco (I think) and Energy Transfer Partners. Big shake up!
Cool, thanks for letting me know and sharing. Yea definitely a big shake up !
