RE: Advertising Excellence!

in #advertising8 years ago

Actually, Statoil sold its convenience stores to a Canadian conglomerate called Alimentation Couche-Tard, which owns the Circle K brand. It was the biggest convenience store brand in the US, originally founded in El Paso, Texas before it got sold to the Canadian company. It's a big trend in the last years as oil companies are dropping their consumer based convenience stores and concentrate on producing and distributing oil products. Other oil companies followed. 7-11 just added another 1000 stores or something like that they bought from Sunoco (I think) and Energy Transfer Partners. Big shake up!
