Paragliding from above 1600 m

in #adventure7 years ago

This is me sailing off in tandem paraglide from the Sarangkot Hill in Pokhara. The hill itself is over 1600m high above sea level with a panoramic view of the Himalayan peaks, from Dhaulagiri (8167m) in the west to the Machhapuchhare (6997m), the tent-like peak of Annapurna II (7937m) to Lamjung (6983m) in the east. The 45 minutes long flight offers a sneak peak into one of the best sceneries with the bank of Phewa Lake as the landing spot. A thrilling experience for less than a $100.
