Excellent post. I have spent prolonged periods of time in other countries and the thing that always brought me home was my mortgage. The longest i was away was for 1 year in Thailand and i had to set aside a big chunk to make sure it was paid off every month. Best thing you have ever done prob, and if shit hits the fans you can always start again. So nothing to wrry about
Good luck and i look forward to seeing your future posts.
Ps, my upvote got you to 4.20. My favourite number
lol, my favorite number too!! ;)
Thailand sounds cool, I'm hoping I will see it in the next few years.
Initially we thought about keeping our house too but when we were doing the numbers we realized it was more of an anchor than an asset at that point.. The way we see it is the worst case scenario is we end up back where we were, working and living a normal life.. like you said, we can just start over at that point, so what do we really got to loose? nothing.. We honestly aren't really worried about failing, we set up a great plan and as long as cryptos don't fall apart completely we should do just fine. I also have a nice stack of silver just incase shit does hit the fan! ;)
You dont have anything to loose like you said, you are only gonna gain. I have been there and its scary and fun at the same time. That's real living and having no regrets. You can always go back to porridge and get back your old life.
Yeah Thailand was cool, ive done alot of asia that year and i did alot of europe as well. Never made it to Ozzy land, NZ are much of the States. Married with kids, nough said my friend.
