This summer I was able to go to Quito, Ecuador and work on some humanitarian relief projects, while also sight seeing. Here are some photos of my favorite places we visited.
Photo 1: Climbing the Basilica in Quito, Ecuador. Yes, we went all the way to the top and even climbed into the clock towers. I blacked out at the top due to adrenaline.
Photo 2: A panoramic of Quilotoa, the volcano in Ecuador. This was an amazing sight, and if you ever have the opportunity to see it in real life, I strongly recommend it. The green color around the water was the more insane thing I had ever seen and the photo does not even do it justice.
Photo 3: On top of a mountain at Mitad Del Mundo - here we were able to stand at 0 longitude and enjoy the breathtaking sights (literally! The altitude is insane).
