Thats awesome! :) We actually thought about doing that for a year before we left the country but then decided that we needed to get out of the country and see the world first, then maybe come back and travel the states when we have a child..

We are doing just the opposite....since we already have kiddos... 13 and 14... so once they are sufficiently on their own We want to travel. Especially to Israel.
Before I married, I traveled a lot throughout the states... but had a journey to Germany for a couple of months. Beautiful country... what ever you do, please keep your passports safe. It is a nightmare to replace them.
@jeejee
Good advice here on the passports. I keep a digital scan online if I travel.
Does digital scans work if you are traveling?
@jeejee I wouldn't think so, it's more in case you loose your passport, at least you have something to fall back on. You can show it to the authorities and you will have your passport number. It should also allow you to get a replacement quicker. You just don't want to be stuck abroad without any sort of ID.
Yeah that would be total blockaid. Best wishes for your travels!
