In some previous posts, I have mentioned that in Estonia we have serious drought problem. We didn't get any rain over a month and most of the days are hot and sunny without any clouds. These weather conditions resulted in wildfire risk being very high and it still is very high despite we have had some rain in the last couple of days.
Now to this post topic. On 1st June I saw some dark clouds in the sky. First thought I had: Oh are we really going to get some rain finally and second thought: I might catch some nice sunset with those clouds, I should go to the beach and take some shots. About 20 minutes after I was there and ready to capture something nice. Since sea level was low at this moment, I decided to use this opportunity and walk along the beach side a little longer. Gonna be many pictures in this post!!
Usually, when I'm at the beach I stick to the sandy area but not today. When walking towards the rocky beach I saw some boats on the shore. Usually, I cant get so close to them because they are in the water.
Why is this cart there?
After a short walk the sandy beach ends and things are starting to get a little rockier. This is pretty cool, the further and farther you go then bigger the rocks get on this beach. Usually when sea water level is normal, means somewhere around zero level, then there is not much room to walk along the rocky part but like I said above, conditions on this day were right and I had plenty of room.
About 10 minutes walk forwards I finally reached to my favorite place in this beach. This is my favorite tree to be more exact. This is a perfect example of erosion. It is pretty incredible to see how water has washed out a big part of the roots of this tree over time. Therefore it is now a perfect subject to photograph and I do this almost every time when I'm there, even if I already have shitloads of photos of this tree. It's always worth capturing some more beauty.
My original reason for going on a walk was to capture a sunset. It was beautiful with those dark clouds but I have to admit, I have seen better sunsets. I'm actually going to the beach after I finish writing this post and try to capture today's sunset.
After some more walking I reached to the cliffs which are getting destroyed by waves and winds. Big chunks of this cliff are falling down really often. Basically, you can see every year how this coastline has changed and there is now less land than there was last year. At some point, I'm gonna make a compare post of the photos which are captured from this place in 2014 and 2015 and how it looks now in 2018.
This tree is going to fall down real soon
From this point, I started to walk back because it was getting dark and I didn't feel like capturing high ISO photos.
On my way back I saw this little shack and one chair in it. There was no room for anyting more. It's actually a great idea if you can't afford a beach house but you still want to sit under the roof and watch sunsets in the evenings.
Now some more random shots I took on my way back.
Soon enough I was back at the sandy part of the beach and there were some nice patches of seawater which were not affected by waves and wind so much, so I decided to take some reflection shots. Well, there is still a little wind but its the best I could get from there, it's a seaside cmon. On very rare occasions I have seen almost perfectly still sea water, but it really happens very rarely and I don't even remember when was the last time but it has happened AND WILL HAPPEN AGAIN and I will be there with my camera to capture this event!!

what beautiful rock did you photographed in this post, i think were very nice, by the way the roots of the trees are very outside of the soil product of the waves right as you say, the ocean have a powerfull that we do not have imagine how big his strong could be.
