Hello steemians its me again, today i bring you another interesting, untouches and amazing ecotourism site you can have an adventure at.

THE MOLE NATIONAL PARK
Mole National Park protects an area of savannah and forest in northern Ghana. In the western part of the park, the Konkori Escarpment has panoramic views and overlooks waterholes where animals drink. There are waterfalls along the Kparia and Polzen rivers. To the south, Larabanga village has a centuries-old, Sudanese-style mosque. imagethe forest

Mole (pronounced Mo-lay) National Park is Ghana’s biggest wildlife sanctuary. There are 93 mammal species in the park, including buffalo, warthogs, hippos and several antelope species It’s home to elephants, leopards and rare birds such as the white-backed vulture. image image image. image image image image some species of animals found in the park.

Africa its known for its rich culture and hunting expeditions but the park is a NO!! NO!! Area for hunting. Two hours from the motel by bike, Mognori is a friendly ‘eco-village’ offering canoe trips and village walks – these include encounters with weavers, local medicine men and the village chief. If requested a day in advance (via the Park office), the community will also showcase their traditional drum and dance performances. Some families provide basic overnight stays and, during the dry season, accommodation can also be found on top of the mud houses, directly under the stars. The amazing thing is that, the village is a co-habitat for other animals in the park. As seen from the pictures bellow.

There are various ways to which tourist can explore this amazing park:

1.The Foot Safari
It involves walking through the Park. Animals that you may see on a Foot Safari are birds, antelope, kobs, elephants, baboons, warthogs, buffalos and monkeys. Foot Safaris are conducted between the hours of 7 am and 11 am, and between 3:30 pm and 5:30 pm. Each trip lasts for two hours. image

2.The Tree Hide
Hyenas, buffaloes, baboons, leopards, antelopes and birds are some of the animals you might see. Throughout the night there are over a hundred birds chirping, and this, combined with the cries of hyenas and baboons, is very exciting for any animal lover. The Tree Hide experience begins at the Information Centre, with a one-hour walk to the Tree Hide at 5:00 pm with an armed guide who will remain with visitors for the entire period of their stay at the Tree Hide. The Tree Hide experience ends at 8:00 am the following morning. image

3.The Drive Safari
The Driver Safari involves a drive through the Park. If you ride on (or in) a Jeep, you are likely to see more animals than you would if you were walking, and you would certainly cover a large distance in a shorter space of time. Animals that you may see on a Day Safari are birds, roan antelopes, hartebeests, kobs, elephants, baboons, warthogs and monkeys. Day Safaris are conducted between the hours of 7:00 am and 11:00 am, and between 3:30 pm and 5:30 pm. Each trip lasts for two hours. image

4.The Night Safari
The night safari begins at 6:00 pm and lasts for an hour, in order not to disturb the animals unduly. An armed guide in a rental jeep escorts visitors on this adventure, which is booked for at the Information Centre. Visitors have the choice of viewing the animals from the roof of the jeep or from the inside, as most of the rental jeeps have rooftop seating. Some of the animals that visitors may see on this safari are buffaloes, hyenas, roan antelopes, leopards, elephants and hartebeest. image
