Good day, @adsactly. I propose as a story the inner life of an extraordinary woman, torn apart by contradictions. Nihilist in her teens, due to years of abuse, Johanna goes on to become an Existentialist philosopher while leading a destructive double life as a sex worker.

Mysteriously, as she approaches middle age, she finds herself renouncing her old life and deeply drawn to the lives of the saints. Yet, Johanna also discovers she cannot rid herself so easily of her sex addiction, even though she is increasingly attracted to a life of asceticism and mysticism.

In the process of battling her demons, our heroine becomes a major artist, painting the godly life she lacks the discipline to lead, and that she continues to ache for in her waking hours. Oscillating between despair and ecstasy, she realizes that she must make a choice how to live, and that time is of essence, since rumors of World War III are filling the air...
