Lukanshenko has ruled Belarus since 1994 and of course he has not hesitated to point to his son Kolia as his preferred son for his succession.
Lukanshenko has always shown an authoritarian character, in fact he took Kolia to a meeting of the United Nations General Assembly, if I remember correctly it was when the homage to the victims of September 11, 2001.
It is worth noting that it was not the first time that Lukanshenko has taken Kolia to any event, since the first time was around 2007 when she was only 3 years old, hence.... as she has grown up Kolia has been accompanying her father to different diplomatic meetings, in fact you stressed in the post that Kolia was present when Lukanshenko met Hugo Chavéz who is the former president of Venezuela.
Another very interesting fact is that we don't know who Kolia's mother is, at least I don't know, the truth is that Lukanshenko has been training his son to take over in the future, the socialist doctrine has instilled in him. We don't really know what will happen in the future, but what we do know is that Lukanshenko has planned and is working to make his son his successor, well... the years will go by and we'll see what happens.
We cannot ignore the fact that even the generals of the Armed Forces of Belarus are obliged to make the military salute to Kolia.
