In answer to the question of the day, no. I have never done a food and wine pairing, but your post makes it look like my favorite, a food and food pairing would work very well :)

    Thanks @bigtom for always leaving great comments. I am glad they make you want to visit the places that I talk about. I am glad that you are also thinking about a food & wine pairing. Do you take wine? If yes, look up an event in your area and attend.
