Hey, good morning Glen! What a pleasant surprise it is to find you here this morning, thanks a lot for checking out this post, sir, I appreciate it.
Yeah, you know, about the beautiful pictures. The scenery here is gorgeous to look at, that’s undeniable but the reality is far from gorgeous and, until you’ve submerged into the culture, “scenery” is all that’s seen. I hope that makes sense. I’ve been on plenty of beaches and witnessed plenty of sunsets but the more I know about the local residents here, the more beautiful all of the other sunsets and beaches are.
Yeah, PayPal, what a fiasco! They hijacked my funds for a total of 7 days—can you believe that?! On that note, the young man who came down here to purchase the vehicle, I didn’t hide the truth from him. As soon as he told me he’s moving his family down here to do X, Y and Z and insisted to him he take it all in for a minimum 6 months. I told him a good reliable vehicle is a necessity but don’t make any other purchases until you’ve experienced the country for six months. One day he’ll realize how helpful I was.
You’re right, it’s terrible to feel unwanted and have a target on your back everywhere you go, it sucks! But someone needs to say something and I believe I’m just the guy for the job! 👍🏿 God is great. I hope more people talk about Costa Rica and wOrd spreads. Check out this article posted this morning by @raserrano, a Costa Rican native—I think it’s already working sir.
England. Well, I’ll give you the shortened version. Pura has since considered teaching in Spain—scratch Costa Rica! Being Spain is EU and her father who’s no longer with us is from England, I figured—England! I think it’s about dang time we get her to the place her father is from so she can see first hand where and who her heritage is. We’re both excited but she’s substantially more excited as you could probably imagine. I don’t know how long we’ll be there before arriving in Spain, I imagine at least a few months but then again, “Plan” is a funny word.
Thanks for the kind wishes and thank you for stopping by @glenalbrethsen, it’s always a pleasure to hear from you.

Since my wife is from Mexico, I do know something about the latin culture, and that some people are going to be nicer and more welcoming than others. I don't have any specific experience with Costa Rica, though, so was hoping that maybe things could work out there.
England, it is, then! Sounds like a whole knew adventure, and I'm sure you'll have plenty of chances to talk politics with folks you meet there. :)
Hopefully, the advice you gave doesn't fall on deaf ears. I'm sure if there experience is anywhere near yours and others he will appreciate the warning.
Well, we plan, and then we see what life affords us, I guess. I'm back to work (not the plan), so hey, anything's possible. :)
Lol! I didn’t even think about the political conversations until just now, Glen. That’s frikkin funny, sir! Earplugs—check! 👍🏿
edit for some reason this comment posted twice, sir. That’s what the delete was—in case you’re wondering. 😉

It's all good. And I'm glad I was able to give you a heads up, since I keep hearing that Britain is not very fond of Trump. No one seems fond of Trump, other than those who voted him in, so hey. It can make for some entertaining conversation anyway. :) And then you can be involved in the whole, will they Brexit or will they not Brexit and just be happy they're not talking about Trump. :)
