Given that there is no correlation between violence, murder, and/or gun saturation, the arguments against owning guns are moot. There is no safety benefit to the populaces that enact gun control. This is shown in study after study after study.

Now we even have England to show us that, when you take away the guns but leave the culture violent and disconnected from one another and nature, they'll just kill each other with some other tool, in this case knives.

We'd do better to promote reconnecting with one another, reclaiming our space in natural settings, and working on our emotional health if we really care to reduce violence. Since we're living in the least violent time in recorded history, outside of military and police action, I'm not really concerned anyway. I'm WAY more concerned about the thugs that pretend to rule us...
