Oto sytuacja po 37 dniu (finałowym) w 43 edycji rozgrywki "POPRZECZKA", której bieżąca edycja rozpoczęła się wraz z początkiem grudnia. Sytuację możecie śledzić niemal codziennie czytając wpisy na tym profilu.

Here is the situation after the 37th day (final) of the 43rd edition of the Crossbar (also known as POPRZECZKA) gameplay, which began on December 1st. You can follow the progress almost every day by reading the posts on this profile.

Wygrał po raz dwudziesty @merthin. To jego szóste zwycięstwo w edycjach z 2024 roku. Dwa razy zwyciężali @manuvert i @new.things a po razie @racibo i @cezary-io. Nagrody w postaci 5 HBD rozdysponowałem tak: 3 HBD dla @merthin (+30% z tego wpisu), 1 HBD dla @homesteadlt i 1 dla @manuvert. Kluczem była poprawa wyniku z listopadowej edycji lub chociaż poprawa średniego wyniku z ostatnich 3 miesięcy. Zimowy miesiąc był cięższy i to widać w wynikach. Poprzednia edycja to było śrubowanie wyników - wtedy aż 5 uczestników miało wyniki ponad 30.

Drugie miejsce zajął @manuvert. Król drugich miejsc (po raz 13!). Trzecie miejsce zajął @fredkese. Zwracam uwagę na zwyżkę formy tego uczestnika (i mistrza z kwietnia 2023 roku) bo miesiąc temu fredkese zajął drugie miejsce.

Wszystkim gratuluję jakiegokolwiek wyniku. W końcu to tylko zabawa.

The winter month was tougher, and this is reflected in the results. The previous edition was about setting records, with as many as five participants scoring over 30.

.@merthin has won for the 20th time. This marks his sixth victory in the editions of 2024. @manuvert and @new.things have each won twice, while @racibo and @cezary-io have each won once. The prizes, totaling 5 HBD, were distributed as follows: 3 HBD to @merthin (+30% from this post), 1 HBD to @homesteadlt, and 1 HBD to @manuvert. The key criterion was improving the November edition's result or at least the average result from the last three months. Second place went to @manuvert, the king of second places (for the 13th time!). Third place went to @fredkese. I’d like to highlight the improved performance of this participant (and the champion of April 2023), as fredkese took second place last month.

O samych zasadach POPRZECZKI przeczytacie w starszych wpisach inaugurujących kolejne edycje. W skrócie: każdego dnia spoglądacie na kalendarz i tę liczbę mnożycie razy 1000. Tyle kroków to wasze minimum. Podobnie jak w skoku wzwyż lub w skoku o tyczce - zawodnik odpada jeśli trzy kolejne "skoki" okażą się nieudanymi. Tymi nieudanymi skokami są dni w których nie udało się przekroczyć limitu lub gdy w ogóle nie przystąpiono do gry (nie opublikowano raportu).

Dołączać do naszej zabawy można do 3 dnia od rozpoczęcia rozgrywki za pomocą komentarza. W zabawie biorą udział wszyscy uczestnicy z zeszłego miesiąca.

You can read about the rules of POPRZECZKA in older posts that launched previous editions. In short: every day, you look at the calendar and multiply the day number by 1000. That number of steps is your minimum for the day. Similar to high jump or pole vault, a participant is eliminated if they fail three times in a row. A failed attempt occurs on days when the step limit is not reached or when no report is submitted at all.

You can join our game up to the 3rd day after it starts by commenting. All participants from last month are taking part in the game.

Zazwyczaj w naszej rozgrywce kolejność uczestników zaczyna być istotna dopiero gdy zbliżamy się do finiszu. W przypadku remisów (np. dwóch uczestników dojdzie do 35 dnia rozgrywki) o kolejnych miejscach decydują kolejne strącenia poprzeczki.

In our game, the order of participants usually only becomes important as we approach the finish. In case of a tie (e.g., if two participants reach the 35th day of the game), the placement is decided by the number of additional crossbar hits.
