Update: Apparently updating a post via eSteem screwed up the pictures or something.
I've registered for a relay run with 3 of my colleagues that is in 10 days. For the duration of the last 100 days, I had probably gone for a run less than 3 times. It's been tough trying to make time for my training as there's worries of finances, work/career, health, kids education, vacation, time spent with kids and family and a few other stuff. I guess I'm not that driven when times get hard.
I've been fit enough a year ago to run 5km in 30 minutes but now it feels so far away. I hope with training and a little bit of diet tweak, I'll be able to also complete the 50km Trail Running I have registered for in 18 days. I mean, worst case scenario - I'll just have fun.
Today's workout is about just catching up with myself and feel the vibe and getting back on track. Almost an hour and usually I hit 10km, but today it's about 6+km.
I'll push harder everyday.
