I have a disc with a blue tooth signal on it and it gives out a beep noise. I'm not sure if GPS would give the resolution needed to find a disc in a pile of leaves. I know in this case the disc was probably in about a ten to twenty foot radius around the basket. It was tempting to head back out there with a rake but that would have been tough to do on my e-bike. Clear plastic is not very practical even for a putter.
