Good evening steemians,
Today felt like a busy productive day ^o^ though I don't know if it amounts to much o.o
Today my final grades are posted and sealed. Feels Wonderful having straight A's this semester. I was able to gather my receipts, my transcripts, my schedule and do an expense report for work. Hopefully they'll help me with tuition and count it towards my professional development hours. Would be a shame if someone along the chain denies me. It was so hard to move from temporary status to regular, several years in the making. I really wonder if there's anyone else in my tire that's also going for their master's. Not to many would go beyond their bachelor's degree in a tech background.
Today we made huge progress in our projects. There will be more testing before deploying but it's very encouraging to see our individual scripts work in Harmony with each other. I don't think we'll be able to finish our project before going for winter break. Most likely we'll have to work hard when we come back in January. Still I'm very proud we split up such a large project and brought our pieces together and massaging them to work as one. I would definitely get triggered if a manager pops in and asks what the heck we've been doing all this time. Dangit, We're crafting a universe from the moment of creation - up to the moment the last star stops shining - one line of code at a time! (Mayhaps I'm exaggerating a bit)
I've been pondering how to help my blood work before I see the doctor again in six weeks. Aside from being vegan, the first thing I can start doing all the vitamins. So far I'm doing a multi vitamin, iron, b complex, C, D and fish oil twice a day. Perhaps I should go easy on the coffee and try teas without creamers or suger. I usually take it plain. But what I thought was most intriguing was to help manage triglycerides and cholesterol is Apple Cider Vinegar. Dilute 1 ounce into water or juice and take it every twelve hours and it'll help reduce it. Black tea should also help with cholesterol. My mum thinks it's silly to start changing my routine a bit but I want to avoid scary medication. As for high blood pressure, I'm not quite sure how to help that other than reducing salts, hot sauce, rinsing canned foods if possible, be sparing with seasoning. During tonight's dinner there was no delight in it. I was just zoning out to space chewing til my jaw got tired -lesigh- I don't like the idea of eating yourself to death but it seems common in the United States.
Sadly my coworker couldn't join me to the gym today but my mum did. Started my round with some treadmill again. Did a mile just slightly under 15 minutes, small improvement. And since I did back and lower body yesterday, it was upper body today. OhMaiGosh, I lost Soo much strength in my biceps it's embarrassing. Triceps not to bad. Pitty how quickly you lose conditioning. After an hour at the gym I was a ragdoll on the machine and couldn't move anymore.

My mum snuck up behind me and poked me asking if I had enough. -grumble grumble-
I hope to make significant changes to my body in the near future, I kinda feel like a biochemist looking into herbs and homeremedies and looking for supporting claims. I don't have much else to lose at this point. It would be terrible if I don't shape up surgery could be the only option. I mean that could be far into a bleak future but you never know what life can throw at you. I don't want to fail before I give it a chance to work.
At the gym I was listening to more of my music library I came across a song that reminded me of my astronomy class. We played an Open Source space flight simulator called Orbiter. For the midterm we had to launch from the surface of the earth to get to orbit then go around the moon and come back to the surface of the earth. For the final basically had to do the Apollo 11 Moon landing. But during the lectures I remember finding a music video on YouTube where someone plotted a course from Earth, gravity sling around Venus, sling by the earth for the last push to get to Mars using the least about of fuel possible and it was incredible
(despite taking a long time) so much needs to go right! It was incredible because everything is consumable and so finite. Any wrong move and you're stranded in space. Hope you guys enjoy the music video
