The lily is beautiful. I stopped buying plants online because they aren't always what I expect. I also learned that it is easy to buy too many at one time. If I buy locally I know what I can plant at that time.
When the plants are shipped they often arrive rainy days or when I don't have time to plant them right away. The stress of getting planted takes away from the pleasure of gardening.
Buying local definitely has some advantages. I get lazy and don't like to go to the store though, so I tend to order a lot of stuff on-line. Most of the time it works out but sometimes I get stuff I would not have purchased if I saw it in a store.
