I don't think I've ever seen those berries around here, although when I scrolled back to the picture, the leaves are very raspberry-looking. perhaps a wild one.

I can attest to the same thing as far as throwing, although it has nothing to do with throwing and everything to do with skill. It seems to be true, it is not the power behind it, but rather the wisdom if you will. Even when I am playing tennis I believe that my balls that have Purpose with their Direction and I am slow to go through with it do better than when I am swinging at it with all my power. Or perhaps that's just me, but, I have found that purpose over power seems to be more on target. Or I should say slow and purposeful.

And yes! It is a definite plus when you don't have to look for a disc or climb a tree to get it.

I definitely like the depth of field on your spindly Moss and, all in all, it's a pretty cool picture. Of course, it goes without saying that the bokeh is beautiful.

I spied at least four Skippers when I clicked on the picture. I used to watch those when I was a kid and they definitely still put a smile on my face. Amazing to see them flitting along the water as if I'm a pair of skis. Great catch and I'm actually surprised that you captured any at all. Their presents scatters when they see me coming. I don't even feel threatening. LOL well I'm pretty sure that fall is in your ear and stays in many places so, it doesn't seem to be giving up its place in summer here quite yet. As a matter of fact, today seemed hotter and so much more humid then I remember it being in a while. Yesterday was still 92 or 93 and today will be much of the same. Oh, summer you can go home anytime you want now. I'm looking for a little bit of fall and my apples to come down. Also the pears.
