That sounds like a pretty good trick to get 20 lbs of birdseed home with your ebike. I saw a post on Narrative about a guy using solar panels to charge his bike battery and hooking up some extra batteries for a longer range. He was doing all this himself so of course, I didn't understand most of it. He even had a trailer he made to pull behind for his dog to ride on.

There do seem to be a lot of options for increasing the range on an ebike. An extra battery might be appealing but they are very costly now.
Some of the new electric motorcycles have some really neat high tech on them. I read one article about one with rear cameras and a display that gave tactile feedback on the vehicles approaching and possible problems. Way too pricey for me though.
Yes there are always tons of options if you want to pay from them. Just more things to break down, lol. As long as it does what you want it to, I'm good.
