.
This morning, two weeks after the death of his sister, @holydog suddenly became agitated and started sniffing around the house.
I did not personally witness this, but it makes me think... that he perceived his sister's presence in the other dimension and started looking for her?
That said, I decided to take him out for four hours to enjoy a long walk together with Beauty in the middle of nature.
Long live the spring!
Everything is okay! ๐
My question today is:
What is your perception of the afterlife? ๐คช
Tell me about your experience in a comment or link me an article from your blog. Thank you!

I believe our afterlife is what feelings we left behind with friends and family. A good person, kind and supportive for others, will leave the world with a deep regret. This is for me paradise... in the hearts of others!
Oh yes, mate:I completely agree with you! Thanks for stopping by. ๐

My pleasure! ;)
For dogs, I don't know. For humans, I believe you get to stay somewhere after death awaiting judgement, mainly hades and paradise.
Thanks @fredkese for your kind answer. ๐๐ฝ
I stopped believing in these religious dogmas, preferring to have a direct connection experience to the divine,, that is everywhere.

Only time will tell, just hoping it won't be too late before we are realise that there is a God.
We are part of God: of course exists! ;)

I believe in reincarnation. everything in the universe is cycles, like day and night, winter and summer, one thing happens to another, why would life and death be different?
Posted using Partiko iOS
Oh yes, why would be different?
Thanks for your thought, @marianaemilia! ๐ค

Great stepping ๐ช and beautiful pictures of the outdoors ๐. I can tell the doggies are loving the weather. This life is truly a mystery ๐ฑ.
We all know that there exists another or other dimensions. No one knows for sure its mechanics or how it operates. There are lots of theories.
I think we keep dying and coming back like some sort of recycle. I wish I could remember some of my past lives. Everyone and everything has a purpose to fulfill. How everything works only God knows ๐
Enjoy your weekend ahead๐ Big shout out to @holydog and gang๐๐

Thanks Eric for your constant and kind presence, very much appreciated!
Beauty was born on the seashore and she has excellent aquatic skill: she always go inside FOR taking a swim, LOL!
Yes, we are trapped in a circle of birth and death till we'll understand some univer laws.
Enjoy the weekend you too! A huge hug ๐ค

Animal mourning is a thing.
I recently read an article in a scientific magazine showing several animal species mourning.
Like there was one example of a donkey balking for hours on end and having erratic behaviour for two weeks when his horse friend passed away. And a mother orca dragging her dead newborn a thousand kilometers with her while the group swam close by.
Dogs too, ever seen the movie Hachiko?
The good is that animals are true masters in living the here and now: they takes little to stop thinking about the past.
My daughter saw the movie, and advises against watching it because she cried a lot! ๐ค
Thanks for sharing with us your thoughts. A huge hug ๐ค

I would say that this other dimention could be memory. So your dog just really misses his sister.

Yeah, I think so too! ๐ His love for her sister will last forever!
Huge hug ๐ค

Sorry for your lost
Thank you!
What about my daily question? Would you like to reply?
It's complicated, we are not ready for lost.
More than complicated, it's painful. In this dimension, we are attached to matter, so detachment causes pain.
But death, you can only accept it: even if you don't know when it will happen, it's the only certain thing after birth, you know?
I do agree with every word
I think our soul revisits manifestation in many forms to learn the lessons of unconditional love. Sometimes I think our dogs & cats are what we becomes when we have grown past the need to learn people lessons. And after that? I think we become the pure energy of love & light. ๐

Thanks for your kind comment, darling.
I feel so too: we are doing experience in this dimension, a kind of soul-school. ๐

Hi @amico,
According to Hinduism, afterlife depends on person's merits until it nullifies the sins of his previous birth. If a person's merits nullifies the previous birth's sins, THERE IS NO AFTERLIFE AT ALL!
If in case, that very same person continues to do more sins in this birth also, he can't escape the birth-death cycle. That means his afterlife will continue until his merits and sins are equal.
Thanks for your kind comment, mate!
Oh yes, I know: our essence is never born and never dies.
Namaste

Sorry to hear @hollydog sister passed. I donโt know about afterlife but I know there are times birds come to visit and I just know it represents a past family member. This has happened too many times to be a coincidence. My Maternal grandparents have come to me several times as Emus and my Wifeโs Grandma is a Kookaburra who visits us. Sounds kooky I know but there you go.
Thanks, @stephen-somers.
How do you perceive / recognise your past family member in a bird?
Itโs just the both the timing and the feeling I get. The kookaburra always visits when special family things happen like birthdays and when my wifeโs parents visit. Itโs strange but we just know itโs her.
Cool!
Thanks for sharing it with us!
All I know is that I believe in it. What is the biggest supporting arguement is the fact, I hardly believe our complex thoughts can be a combination of electricity and some chemicals. In contrary, the number of possible ways our neurons can connect likely exceeds the number of atoms in the space. But well, I think consciussness is something more than a series of synapses.
I agree with your thought, mate: thanks for stopping by!
A huge hug
@amico
I think he will have a new born !
He may be an animal or plant.
Even may be wind/water/stone etc...
Any existence of nature,
May be his afterlife.
Thanks for sharing your thought, mate! I love it!
