There is one drink typical of Meulaboh City which is famous in Indonesia. This drink will not be found in other provinces in Indonesia unless you come specifically to Meulaboh. However, currently there is one of my friends who successfully opened coffee outlets in Banda Aceh.
This coffee has a high historical value even the national hero of Indonesia namely Teuku Umar is a hero from Meulaboh believed to love this coffee. This coffee is made from selected coffee beans with a slightly rough texture. This coffee is deliciously drunk in hot conditions.
Presentation is very unique, coffee is usually served with the surface of the mouth of the glass on the face up, but this coffee glass mouth is actually reversed. Hence this coffee is known as coffee upside down. How to drink the waiters usually provide a plastic straw. It must be very difficult to drink it with a rather hot temperature and plus a pipette.
