(Proses pembuatan Rapai Tuha)
Rapai is one of the most famous art instruments in Aceh. Art that is often called this percussion has existed since hundreds of years ago.
In Aceh art Rapai not only for entertainment, but also for the ritual to the religion, especially Islam. Art Rapai for entertainment called Rapai saman, while for ritual called Rapai tuha.
Rapai is made of wood in a circular enclosure and goat skin as the cover where it was hit. The sound is a kind of drum sound, but it's louder.

Up till now the arts have still survived in Aceh, although the audience is decreasing.
