Kulam Jijiem " kolam penuh sejarah di aceh

Kolam ini penuh sejarah. Konon, nama Keumala berasal dari cahaya merah yang keluar dari kolam ini.
Tidak ada bukti sejarah yang menerangkan awal adanya kolam. Namun,
orang tua di sana mengatakan kolam ini dulunya hanya sebuah sumur dan
diperbesar menjadi kolam oleh penjajah Jepang dan Belanda. Hingga sekarang,
kolam ini sudah beberapa kali mengalami renovasi. Tapi kejernihan airnya tidak pernah hilang.

Uniknya, meskipun kemarau dan sumur warga nyaris kering, air kolam ini sedikit pun tidak berkurang.
