I believe as long as I wrote that content, I should be allowed to repost as many times I like. However there can be rules to let the readers know the original timestamp.

I'm actually talking about posting your blog from a different site/social media and passing it off as "new". Reposting your old Steemit posts is something different.

Oh, I see.
Reposting from different site/social media should be limited because most will simply dump the old content and there might not be new content. Which is the base for growth for any platform.
Growth is always a plus, and I enjoy seeing new content being introduced. I would imagine that in the future, there will be better ways to detect reposted info better.
