The way I see it, if he is going to think curation is simply downvoting and coercing people to follow his own ideals, he is quickly going to notice there will be nothing to curate.

in my only comment to him, I described it the same way: downvoting authors (i.e. content creators) is like shooting into your own leg. he didnt responded, anyway..
