Cheetah fights plagiarism... if you see a cheetah message it means the text of the article you are reading is already posted somewhere else on the internet, specifically on the link that cheetah provides.

Sort:

I have muted cheetah.

But this is the post where it sent me a link in.
the robot did not say it was plagiarism, but that it was some place that wrote about similar things.

I have been writing about this for at least 5 years on internet.
And because of that (and because many other also have started to write about it.
This year we could for the first time read about it as a true thing on Wikipedia too.
Before that about 2 years ago, it only said in Wikipedia that it was something crazy people talked about.. ;)
And when we tried to tell the truth in Wikipedia too, it was edited away the same day... ;)

If someone find a article that is even close to this on internet, i will say it most probably is a copy of my post.
And since the message is the most important for me, that is ok.
I would be happy if i got 5 million plagiats for this exact post.. ;)
I would even pay for it.. lol

But this is 100% my post and my words.
But of course, when you shall tell about certain truths, there is something that have to be the same in all posts about that same truth.

If a Jew for example shall help other jews to say that 6 million Jews was killed, they can not start to say it was 7 millions, just to not copy the first one that said 6 million.. ;)

All it does is point out a post or parts of it have been taken word for word from another post somewhere on the internet. It doesn't mean its plagiarism because it could in fact be your own work, but that doesn't negate the fact that the writing appeared somewhere else before steemit.

That is very true.
because when i started at steemit, the very first thing i did was to copy many of my own articles on facebook over to steemit.

I did not see any point in writing it all over since my intention was to write exact the same :)

But it DOES give people who see it the impression that i am just a plagiat, and since i have done so extremely much research and put so much work in to it and finally wrote a article about it in a way i think most people will understand,
i dont like to get any indications that it is a copy from someone else. ;)

But i am thankfull for your information anyway.
I still like to keep cheetah muted, in case someone will think my post is a plagiat because cheetah give a strong indication that it is.. ;)

And many many people on facebook have shared this post i have written.
That is one of the reasons we can read about Khazaria in Wikipedia to day. :)

Never giving up telling the truth some times actually help. :) :)

No worries, just giving you the info. For the record though, just because you have cheetah muted that doesn't mean everyone else cant see the post still. If you mute someone their posts only become invisible to you, not to the rest of steemit.

aha. thank you, i did not know that.

And i have figured out why cheetah maybe thought i was a plagiator too.

There can only be 3 things.

  1. because it comes from my own articles.
  2. because of the picture about where Khazaria was. (and i can not change that)
  3. Because of the name Khazaria. (and i can not change that neither.)

I am glad for you information, i can just as well remove the muting then. :)

You seem to me like a genuine poster here.
Cheetah usually does a blessed job.
To avoid it, or at least to appease its creator whom might undo its comments which do not add credibility to your posts, you should paste the URL of any original copy of your copied post on Steemit.
Then, if cheetah or steemcleaners alarm or flag your post, you might have some moral ammunition to prevent or undo their actions.

Thank you.
I will remember that.
And it might be that i also misread the situation, so i am actually more positive towards cheetah now.

Even if i always are a bit sceptical towards self-appointed police. :)
