9" x 10" Encaustic on Wood, $299 I accept crypto...
I am doing a Series of 5 paintings, which will accompany to an Art Demo I am doing from 4pm-9pm outside Gallery 1505 at 1505 S. Pearl St., Denver, CO next Friday - the First Friday of the month of June.
I am going to hang the jewelry of these sigils on the paintings to show people what can be done... that they can get a personal sigil from me, and a painting and a piece of jewelry of that symbol - for about $600 in sterling silver including the painting... and with stones, more.
Online I will work for crypto of course...!
What's a Sigil? Please refer to these 2 posts for reference:

This sigil states "I am happily married to my life partner"
Next... I thought a good symbol of this Sigil would be a chalice:
which I drew in my sketchbook and pasted to a primered board. I then extended the background to the board using a ballpoint pen...
I looked around for some interesting things to add to the image... other drawings I had done...
a bug, some flowers, a fish and some other tiny things that got lost in there after a few more layers...i added oil paint and fused it with the heat gun and then I added oil pastel and fused it... it looks like batik to me...
And here's the jewelry:
sorry, for some reason some of my pictures are turning sideways... I don't know how to change that at the moment...

I'm glad that sigil is plain because I don't have a life partner and I wouldn't marry them if I did have. Is it meat or tomatoes in the bottom right corner of the painting?
hollyhocks - with encaustic, ifyou don't color in the artwork before you apply the wax, like w colored pencil and then seal it, you can't really "paint" it because the heat gun moves the paint around - hence with these hollyhocks... they were black and white and then I just dabbed some red pastel and then fused it and the paint moved...
Oh right, I understand. Thank you for explaining :)
