Hi Everyone,
This trip to Thailand is a bit different to how I would normally travel with the family but I did still look out for some great finds/interesting things that I would mention to hubby when I get one. First thing would definitely be the finding a spray that would work well with not getting bitten by mosquitos in Thailand. Not sure what it is but the one I normally used back home does not work 1 bit and was bitten around the leg on the first day. Without waiting, I went to the supermarket and found the Soffell one which is highly recommend by locals and gosh it worked like a gem. There isn’t much of a smell even though it does say it’s got a floral scent, loving it so much!
The next thing was finding an express haircut salon at the train station. The boys got their haircuts in Japan at one of these express haircut places for 1350 yen previously and I didn’t expect to find something similar in Thailand though the price is a bit more expensive in Japan which I didn’t expect. Maybe the exchange rate for Yen is pretty good for us at the moment but it was good to know there is an option for cheap haircuts in Thailand for the boys if they come with me next time.
Lastly, I received a huge box of cake from a friend who is from Chonburi which is around a 90 minutes drive from Bangkok. My friend who I’ve known for 15 years drove to Bangkok to meet me and bought me something really popular there. This cake is light and fluffy, not too sweet and will make you want more of it each time. I’ve never been to Chonburi so it was nice to try something from another province in the country.

The cake looks very yummy Ma'am @travelgirl I heard a lot of beautiful places in Thailand. It is one of the best country in Asia.
Wow, the Soffell spray is definitely going to be a lifesaver. I can totally relate to the struggle with mosquito bites, I even had malaria this month. Also, that cake from Chonburi looks pretty delicious dear
